Wheel thrown stoneware in our high fire Brownstone Clay. The bowl is raised in the classic style, then in the leather hard state the lip of the bowl is split and pinched into a unique geometric form. It is then slip glazed with a combination of earth tone colors for subtle presentation. The final step is application of a clear glaze and fireing to Cone 10 exceeding 2300 degrees. Lead free. Approximately 12.5" diameter 5.0" depth
