 Begining with hand coiled stoneware clay, this decorative Cat was shaped in this classic form. While still in the greenware state, additional coils were made and added and texture was added the piece. After drying to leather hard the entire piece was carved with additional detail. It is glazed with mulitple colors of glaze and fired to Cone 10 exceeding 2300 degrees. Lead free. A great piece of free form sculpture. 6.5" length 4.0" height.
