Begining with a quater inch thick piece of basswood, we cut the patterns individualy on the scroll saw. Next, each is traced with a pattern and through a combination of carving and wood burning, the ornaments are textured. Finally, the wooden ornament is primed and painted and then antiqued to give the patina of a ornament from yesteryear. |
